The Neptune Cash ecosystem
Neptune Cash links in one place.
The project
- neptune.cash (opens in new tab) OfficialThe official website, with the project’s blog and its community links.
- Whitepaper (opens in new tab) OfficialThe original design document, from April 2021.
- Blog (opens in new tab) OfficialArticles from the core team on releases, incidents and the technology.
- Tutorials (opens in new tab) OfficialThe core team’s technical articles and tutorials, including a step-by-step STARK tutorial.
- Documentation (opens in new tab) OfficialHow the protocol, the node, transactions and proofs work, and how to run and build on them.
- The source of the node, the wallet and their libraries. Official software is released only here.
Wallets
Since hardfork delta in September 2026, sending needs up-to-date software. Coins in a wallet that cannot send are still safe, as long as you have its seed phrase.
- Neptune Wallet (opens in new tab) OfficialThe core team’s desktop wallet for Windows, macOS and Linux. Version 4.3.0 or later is needed to send.
- The node’s own wallet, used through the command-line tool or the dashboard. For people who run a node.
neptune-core(opens in new tab) Official - Neptune Cash Wallet (opens in new tab) CommunityThe community’s Android wallet. Cannot send, as of 22 October 2026: version 0.2.1 predates hardfork delta. To send, restore the seed phrase in Neptune Wallet on a computer.
Explorers and network data
An explorer shows blocks, sizes, fees and rewards. It cannot show who paid whom or how much, because the chain does not record that.
- The block explorer, run by the core team.
- A second instance of the same explorer, also run by the core team.
- NPTStats (opens in new tab) CommunityA live dashboard of blocks, difficulty and supply, built by a community member.
- explorer.nptmining.com (opens in new tab) Third-partyA block explorer run by NPT Mining, a mining-server business.
Markets and price data
Native NPT has no token contract. Anything with a contract address is not NPT: see the last section.
- SafeTrade: NPT/USDT (opens in new tab) Third-partyThe only exchange market for native NPT that the price trackers record.
- CoinGecko (opens in new tab) Third-partyPrice and supply data. It lists the wNPT contract on Base as if it were NPT.
- CoinMarketCap (opens in new tab) Third-partyPrice data; the tracker neptune.cash links to. It also lists the wNPT contract.

Mining
Every GPU miner and pool is third-party; the core team runs none. Fees are as published. Ask how a pool handles the time-locked half of each reward before you point hashrate at it.
- DRPool (opens in new tab) Third-partyPool. 3% fee; needs an account and DRPool’s own miner, listed next.
- DRPool miner (opens in new tab) Third-partyDRPool’s own miner, as closed-source downloads for Linux and HiveOS, a mining operating system.
- PoolHub (opens in new tab) Third-partyPool. 10% fee, with PPLNS payouts: you are paid by your share of recent work. It also mines XNT, so check you are on the NPT pool.
- NPT Mining pool (opens in new tab) Third-partyPool run by NPT Mining, which also sells mining servers; neptune.cash links its site. Fee not published.
- Lentern (opens in new tab) Third-partyPoolless: Lentern builds the blocks and your GPU does the proof-of-work guessing. A block you find pays your share to your own address; Lentern keeps 6% to 50% of the reward.
- NVIDIA GPU miner, closed source, 1% fee. RTX 30-series cards and newer.
suprminer(opens in new tab) Third-party - NVIDIA GPU miner, closed source. The first widely used one.
OXZD(opens in new tab) Third-party - The node’s built-in miner. Its guesser, the proof-of-work part, is CPU-only and not competitive at today’s hashrate.

Developers
The docs, all 12 repositories, the Triton VM specification, the testnet explorer and the security policy are on the Build page.
Not Neptune Cash
Easy to mistake for NPT. They are named here so you can recognise them, and deliberately not linked. The FAQ explains XNT and wNPT.
- Neptune Privacy (XNT) A separate coin, forked from Neptune Cash’s code in November 2025. Its site is neptune.io, its explorer neptunescan.io, and its Android app is Neptune Mobile Wallet. NPT holders did not receive XNT.
- wNPT on Base A token on Base created by the SafeTrade exchange, at contract 0x75356ed6af264c8725bc738b8d1ece871a52cbd0. It is not NPT and has none of its privacy; SafeTrade has not published how it is backed, and the core developers have said they have nothing to do with it.
